The Dental Assisting and Team Institute was founded with one clear mission: to empower the next generation of dental health professionals with the real-world skills, clinical knowledge, and confidence they need to thrive.

Our eight-week Dental Assisting program combines in-person learning, online coursework and practical training in a dental office. Ask Andrea about the coursework, assessments and externship required for completion.

Dr. Rudnick

Lead Dentist & Instructor

Dr. Rudnick has been in private practice since 1996, bringing nearly three decades of clinical excellence to every lesson. Specializing in cosmetic dentistry, TMJ/neuromuscular dentistry, and dental implants, he leads our program with the belief that real-world experience is the best teacher.

With over 20 years of hands-on dental experience and more than 10 years of teaching the dental assisting program, Andrea is the heart of our institute. Her dedication, energy, and genuine love for her students make every class feel like family.

Evidence of high school diploma, certification, or GED

Applicants must receive a catalog one week before enrollment

Possess a valid Driver’s License or State ID

$600 deposit required; payment plan or full tuition available

One-day classes require a $100 deposit to secure your spot

What is the cost of the program at the Dental Assisting and Team Institute?

The cost of our program is $3,997. This includes books and scrubs. There are no other fees.

How long is the program at the Dental Assisting and Team Institute?

8 Weeks.

Who will be teaching the students the course material?

At the Dental Assisting and Team Institute you will benefit by learning from both our dental assistant instructor and a licensed dentist. Our dental assistant instructor will help you gain classroom skills from her 22 years in dentistry and Dr Rudnick our licensed dentist will add to your knowledge and have you put your newly acquired skills to use chairside with him in your externship. So you benefit from the best of both worlds!

What completion documents does the Dental Assisting program provide?

Ask Andrea for the exact names and requirements of the school-issued completion documents for the Dental Assisting program, EFDA training and radiography training. Review what each document covers before enrolling.

Will I need any additional training or testing?

Requirements depend on the duties you plan to perform and the credential you are pursuing. Ask Andrea to explain the Dental Assisting program’s assessments, externship and completion documents, and whether your goals require a separate credential.

What other costs are there for the program at the Dental Assisting and Team Institute?

The tuition for our Certification Course is $3,997. No other fees are necessary.

Financing Options

We offer various payment plans to help break up the cost of the curriculum for you. We also accept cash, check and all major credit cards.

How many tests will I have to take at the Dental Assisting and Team Institute?

There will be end of the chapter quizzes and a final examination.

How long do I have to complete my externship?

Your externship is a total of 60 hours to be completed in a dental office. We would love for you to partner with our very own Dr. Rudnick or one of our affiliates close to you. You can complete this during the program by utilizing another day in the week for your externship hours. In this way you will complete the program at the end of the 8 weeks with all required hours. If you will be unable to complete externship at the same time as the program then we will give you an additional 3 months to complete those hours and meet the program’s externship requirement.
